Wicab BrainPort® Study Results

Peripheral Vestibular Dysfunction Controlled Study

Wicab has been conducting a controlled clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the BrainPort balance device.  The interim analysis is currently being conducted by the statisticians.  Preliminary results indicate that while approximately 60% of the study participants showed improved balance, the difference between the 2 treatment groups is not statistically significant.  As additional information is available, it will be posted on the Wicab website.
